Why is there no air conditioning in our lodging ?
The air-conditioners contain refrigerating fluids, gases to greenhouse effect 1300 times more harmful than CO2. The HFC (refrigerating fluids) substitute the R22 (destructive for the ozone layer and potent gas to greenhouse effect). They are inoffensive for the ozone layer but are all the same gases to greenhouse effect whose capacity of reheating is much higher than this one of CO2, up to 2000 times and more.

Help us to preserve this wild sanctuary
To help us to preserve the Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge, do not encourage lodgings and other touristy constructions on the coastal fringe, Terrestrial Maritime Zone, property of the State, Costa Rican heritage. This coast is under the protection of national and international environmental laws and conventions for its biodiversity.
The diversity of flora and fauna of the Refuge reveals it's own exuberance of the caribbean beaches, which have conserved its natural beauty up to now in Costa Rica.
